God is good and has provided Harreson a new home in the Westend!
To bless the new home, Canadian Inayatiyya representative, Amir O’Loughlin, will offer an Universal Worship and house blessing.
Community potluck follows, and if you are so inclined, please bring something to non-alcoholic to share.

20 – 1255 Comox Street. This is close to Comox and Jervis, on top of the Westend hill/plateau.
On time please:
Come for 6:40pm, come early if possible. House blessing will start at 7pm.
About a Sufi House Blessing, Amir says:
“The Sufi House Blessing Ceremony begins with a Universal Worship, a ritual of light, sound and prayer which invokes the one Being (“God”) as It manifests in all traditions of religion and spiritual seeking.
Candles are lit and music played or sung to represent the world’s sacred traditions, and there are universal prayers said by the ‘cherag’ (officiant).”
The house blessing might last 45 minutes or so. Do come even if you can’t make it for the entirety of the house blessing, or even if you miss the whole thing.
Parking in the Westend
AFTER 6pm, on the NORTH side of 1200 block Nelson (just a block over from Comox), parking is FREE. This is the preferred spot, if you plan to be in the Westend around 6ish.
Otherwise there’s lots of potential free parking and paid street parking. Free parking could be motivation to arrive early.
The preferred parking (the sign says no parking 9am – 6pm) is in green with a red outline. I recommend that you look there first for parking. Click the image for a bigger view.
How to get in:
Buzz 20 and then the front door can be opened.
Once in:
- go left pass the 2 steps and take the long hallway which leads to suite 7
- pass through the door on the right and immediately take the stairs to your right up to the 2nd floor
- at the top of the stairs, turn right, open the hallway door and walk to the end

Please bring a non-alcoholic item. If vegan, please label.

Please, no housewarming gifts, especially plants.
